Hello fellow shanty enthusiasts!
We are recently returned from our first Shanty Night outwith the Edinburgh post codes. Our journey to the Isle of Lewis was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to bring our Shanty Night to more and more places.
Our first family-friendly shanty night is coming up on the 31st of May, at Pianodrome Bruntsfield. Tickets via this link. And straight afterwards, we will head over to Frankenstein on George IV Bridge for our biggest ever shanty night - so hopefully, we’ll see you all there!
June has us joining the Harbour Hoolie in North Berwick, so make sure to come along for that! It’s on Sunday the 21st of June. The following week, on Sunday the 28th of June, we’re recording our original shanties at Pianodrome, so if you’d like to be part of the all-day recording session, let us know.
Hopping a little further ahead, as we’ve had lots of enquiries about August dates: we will be at Old Chain Pier on the 9th of August for our regular shanty night, we will have a one-hour show as part of the Fringe at Argyle Cellar Bar on Tuesday the 11th and Tuesday the 25th of August at 5pm, and there may or may not be a reason for you to keep the 15th of August free…
Hopefully, the next time I update this page I’ll be able to tell you that we’ve successfully formed a CIC. Until then - I hope to see you all at our upcoming shanty nights!
