Spring is descending upon us here in Edinburgh, and with it come a lot of announcements!

First off - our first family-friendly Shanty Night is coming up soon. We’re delighted to be doing it at Pianodrome Bruntsfield, on a weekend afternoon (exact tbc), open to all ages. We’ve been wanting to open our shanty nights up to younger participants, but our current pub venues don’t allow for it in the evenings. Rightly so! But thankfully there are plenty of great spaces in Edinburgh to choose from.

Next, we are delighted to head to Stornoway (yes, Isle of Lewis) on Saturday 18th April for a one-off Shanty Night at the New Lewis. We could not be more excited to leave the EH post codes and make our way up north for what promises to be a fun night. If you’re in the area - stop by!

There are other new venues coming up this Spring and summer, so we can come to all you lovely folk. If you know any venues in central Glasgow that might like to have us, give us a shout! Same goes for Perth. And Dundee. And… you get the picture.

We hope to see you at our one-year anniversary on the 29th of March! It’s been a marvellous year with (hopefully) many more to come.
